Project Introduction

Nestlé WorkLab was designed as more than just an office; it was conceived as a workplace ecosystem; where calm meets clarity, and focus meets flow. Every space was intentionally planned to reflect Nestlé’s values of simplicity, innovation, and well-being, inviting both collaboration and quiet concentration under the same roof.

We understood early that this space needed to do more than just “look good.” It had to feel natural. The circulation had to make sense; the air had to feel clean; the colors, textures, and light had to support the people who spend their days here creating, solving, and thinking.

The result is a workplace that balances openness with privacy, modernity with softness, and utility with atmosphere. Nestlé WorkLab isn’t just a place to work. it’s a place to think clearly, move freely, and feel centered.

Architectural Approach

The design centers around modular transparency: we used black-framed frosted glass partitions to create clear boundaries without visual heaviness. This allowed light to travel, even through enclosed rooms, making the space feel breathable and open from every angle.

The layout is divided into three experiential zones:

  1. The Arrival Lounge: a soft, quiet waiting area with plush furniture, calming artwork, and tactile textures that set a relaxed tone.
  2. The Work Core; a spacious open-plan zone with ergonomic workstations, muted tones, and clearly defined circulation routes for ease and flow.
  3. The Private Cluster: enclosed offices and meeting rooms that remain visually light yet acoustically private; thanks to thoughtful spacing and material layering.

We exposed the ceiling grid and services to evoke a sense of honesty and openness, celebrating the rawness of structure while contrasting it with soft furnishings and refined color palettes.

Every inch was designed to reflect both Nestlé’s brand philosophy and a human-centered approach to work flexible, efficient, and quietly inspiring.

Material Specification

The material selection was guided by comfort, durability, and understated sophistication.

Flooring throughout is a high-performance polished concrete finish; grounding the space with a neutral, modern aesthetic.
Partitions are constructed from black powder-coated steel with tempered frosted glass panels. balancing privacy and light permeability.
Ceilings expose galvanized metal trays and sprinkler systems, accentuated with matte red and cream piping for a subtle industrial edge.
Furnishings feature a mix of olive green and teal velvet seating in the lounge zone; while workstations are finished in white laminate with natural wood drawer units and matte black mesh task chairs.

Artwork, greenery, and texture were used sparingly but meaningfully, to soften the atmosphere and introduce biophilic comfort into an otherwise technical space.

Lighting is a mix of suspended circular LEDs and integrated strip lights, carefully positioned for both ambient balance and focused task lighting.

Final Note

Nestlé WorkLab is a physical reflection of Nestlé’s global values clean, efficient, nourishing, and deeply human. It is a space where work can breathe, where ideas have room to grow, and where form meets function with quiet confidence.
